I am an Associate Professor at the School of Psychology, University of Nottingham. My research focuses on visual word recognition, bilingualism, and the neural processes underlying word processing. I am also interested in the relationship between executive control and language, foreign language vocabulary acquisition, subtitle processing, and semantic processing. I investigate these topics using a range of methods, including behavioural testing (reaction times, eye movements), event-related potentials, functional magnetic resonance imaging, neuromodulation, and computational cognitive modelling.
